We are more than just a restaurant - we are a family. Our story began over a decade ago, when our founder and head chef, JV, moved to the UK from Punjab, India. She brought with her a wealth of family recipes and a passion for cooking that she was eager to share with her new community.
Starting out with just a small food cart, she quickly gained a reputation for her delicious and authentic Punjabi cuisine. Her dedication to quality and her warm and welcoming personality made her a beloved figure in the community, and soon she was able to open her own restaurant.
Today, Auntie's Chai Khana is a thriving business with multiple locations and a loyal following of customers. But despite our growth, we have never lost sight of our roots. We are still a family-owned business, and we still take pride in using only the freshest ingredients and time-honoured recipes to create our dishes.
