White cement is an ordinary Portland cement prepared using raw materials such as manganese, iron, copper, titanium and nickel. Its properties such as high degree of whiteness, color consistency, and high blending capacity makes it ideal for sculptures, monuments and various other decorative works. White cement is relatively costlier than gray Portland cement and is commonly used with pigments to produce various pastels and bright colored concrete. It is also widely used for sheathing the uneven surfaces of floors, walls, marble tiles and to set the roof pavers.
