Ingredients for baking cookies:

 

Making cookies is easy, but it's crucial to measure the ingredients properly to avoid them getting spoiled. That is why all the ingredients you need to make cookies are mentioned in pounds here. If you use grams instead of pounds for measurement, you might wonder how many grams in a pound.   • Butter 1 pound,
  • Granulated sugar or brown sugar - 0.75 pounds
  • Eggs minimum 4-5, but keep in mind that their weight is 0.5 pounds
  • Flour 2 pounds
  • Baking soda, about two teaspoons/0.03 pounds
  • Salt 0.02 pounds or about one teaspoon
  • Vanilla extract 0.05 pounds or about 1.5 tablespoons
  • And last but not least, chocolate chips, 1.5 pounds or as you choose to make cookies yummy. (optional)

 

If you'd like to use a different ingredient instead of chocolate chips for garnish in your cookies, you can do that, too. If you don't have them, you can still enjoy the cookies, as they're delicious.

 

Steps to making cookies:

 

  • First, preheat your oven to 350°F. Then, prepare the batter. If you're unsure about the temperature in F, you can convert F to C and keep the oven at a correct preheat temperature.
  • To achieve this, mix butter, sugar, and brown sugar in a bowl until it becomes light and fluffy.
  • Now add eggs and vanilla to that mixture.
  • Next, add flour to the batter, followed by baking soda and salt.
  • Now mix everything and a better will be ready in front of you.
  • To make cookies, place the baking sheet in the oven according to the size of the cookies you want to bake.
  • Keep a minimum 2-inch difference between all the cookies so that they don't stick to each other when they bake.
  • For garnishing, add chocolate chips to all the cookies.
  • Now, place the baking plate in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cookies turn a brownish color.
